I can see for miles...

Not really. Such awful weather today in Sydney and I've got to go out into it!! Not happy. Oh well, I thought these photos were pretty neat though. The navy ship coming into the harbor in the rain looked pretty cool and I felt so sorry for the birds in our tree, getting all rained on all day!

No Sweeping Exits or Offstage Lines...

Gosh it has been an age hasn't it!! That time of year I suppose. Well one of my New Years Resolutions will definitely be as follows: Update Rogue Reporting more often!! Tonight I have to say I'm almost jumping out of my skin with excitement because I'm about to go out and see Shakespeare's 'Richard the Third' starring Kevin Spacey! And directed by Sam Mendes! As I've frequently said, a very good excuse for dressing up. Ta ta for now, off to the theater! Dress: One Way from Lotus Pod, heels: Wittner, tights: Leona Edmiston, red bow (in hair): Mimco, black camellia earrings: Lotus Pod, red cocktail ring: Lucky Brand, nail polish: Butter London Trout Pout

I won't forget to put roses on your grave...

Despite the gloomy song lyrics (which are actually from one of my favourite Rolling Stones songs, 'Dead Flowers'), I thought I'd share these photos. I took them in a street close to my house where the jacaranda trees are flowering. So beautiful.

Tiger & the Rogues at the Square 15th October 2011

Well this was a special one indeed! The band was hand-picked to headline the opening night of a brand new venue in the middle of Sydney city called the Square. It's not often you play a gig in the city as there's just not that many venues unfortunately, so it was quite a thrill for us. It was a definite opportunity to dress up and dress up I did! One thing I was incredibly lucky for was the exceptional services of Culla Change. You drop your clothes off and they dye them for you! The corset and the jeans I wore that night were dyed perfectly thanks to Culla Change. Check them out!! Jacket: Mink Pink; corset: Pleasure State; jeans: vintage; heels: Aldo. Check out the band here.

Your flashbulbs snappin' my picture again...

So I was lucky enough to be interviewed by local newspaper the Mosman Daily and get my photo taken! Very exciting, my first interview with the press! The journalist, Emma Page, asked all the right questions and the photographer, Dave Swift, was fantastic (knew there was a reason I watched Top Model!). My dad was pretty chuffed that he was mentioned as my initial guitar teacher and I think I eloquently described the type of music Tiger & the Rogues play, and I quote (haha!) "Rock music is supposed to be fun...if people aren't tapping their feet to the beat, it's not worth playing". You can read the full article here. Jacket: MinkPink; polka-dot shirt: vintage; singlet: from Rippy's bar in Nashville; belt: vintage; jeans: Lee; heels: Wittner; rosary beads: made by me!

Tiger & the Rogues at the Lewisham Hotel 10th September 2011

Sorry it's been so long lovers! Very busy on this end, starting with a night of rock'n'roll at an all day festival at the Lewisham Hotel. It was an exceptionally fun night. I think what made it even better than a normal gig was the fact that the band had gone through a slight personnel change one week before the show and we still pulled it off! Very well done I think. Shirt: Lucky Brand; belt: Sportsgirl; pants: H&M (can't get enough!); cowboy boots: vintage from Route 66; necklace: vintage Christian Dior costume jewellery; nail polish: Butter London The Full Monty As always if you want to know more about the band you can check out our Facebook page right here. The last photograph is by Roy Barnes.

On a Talihina sky...

Blue skies all around today, it's such a lovely sunny day here in Sydney. Don't know about you but I'm going to enjoy it!

Tiger & the Rogues at the Annandale Hotel 17th August 2011

100% pure rock'n'roll hit up the Annandale Hotel when Tiger & the Rogues headlined the night. We all had a great time and I'm pretty sure the crowd had a good time as well! You can check out a couple videos from the gig at our YouTube channel right here, I guarantee you won't be disappointed! I love playing the Annandale, the home of rock'n'roll in Sydney, Australia as far as I'm concerned. Good excuse for vinyl pants... Pants: H&M; lipstick: Chanel Satine red; nail polish: Butter London Big Smoke; shirt, belt, tie and bangles all vintage.

Tiger & the Rogues Poster

Brand new poster for the band featuring my very own Gibson 335 (no random Google images here! We got the real thing, ladies and gentlemen). Very cherry as far as I'm concerned.

She's like a rainbow...

After it rained so goddamn much, I figured there'd be a pretty awesome rainbow. And there was! Red sky at night, sailor's delight.

Storm is threatening my very life today...

Amazing looking front came in the other day, looked pretty scary across the harbor. I just love the way how the huge clouds make the actual land and buildings look so small in comparison.

Tiger & the Rogues at Valve Bar 29th July 2011

My awesome band Tiger & the Rogues headlined the Valve Bar last night. It was such a fun night, a whole heap of epic people turned up and really got their dance on which is always good to see from the stage. I always have such a great time with the band, we play 100% pure rock'n'roll and fronting a band is the best excuse there is to glam it up! Jacket: Gorman, bodysuit: Bardot, ankle boots: Wittner, lipstick: Christian Dior Trafalgar Pink, nail polish: Butter London Chancer, jeans, belt and bangles are vintage.

Bad Moon Rising...

I just had to take a few photos of the moon tonight. It looked so amazing coming up in between the clouds...Very groovy I thought.

Here comes the sun...

Today the weather was miserable until this afternoon when the sun finally came out. It only lasted for a couple of minutes but it was just beautiful looking across the harbour at the buildings. You can only catch that golden glow in Sydney every so often but when you do it's amazing.

The Treehouse for Dinner

Tonight we went up to The Treehouse in North Sydney for dinner, which is also, incidentally, where I work when I'm not rehearsing or playing gigs with Tiger & the Rogues. I would recommend it to anyone, the atmosphere is fantastic and the food is great!! Especially the chocolate souffle with honeycomb ice cream and the Wild Brumby pink lady apple Schnapps to go with it. It's also a brilliant reason to dress up a little! Jacket: Mink Pink, brooch: Sportsgirl, sweater: Anthropologie, shirt is vintage and skirt is custom-made.

The Phantom

I thought I'd better show you my new car, I call it the Phantom because it's purple. It's easier to see it's pristine purple paintjob in real life but photos will have to suffice for now! It's certainly chilly today, I had to definitely rug up against that wind. Jacket: Sportsgirl, sweater: Ralph Lauren, skirt is custom-made and blue suede heels: Re-mix.

New Orleans

The Big Easy was the last stop on the American tour. We stayed mostly in the French Quarter, although we did venture out to one of the above-ground cemeteries which was pretty interesting. Beignets and coffee were on the menu for breakfast at Cafe Du Monde, which were tasty but probably not for everyday consumption! The yellow house in the photo is the "Maison du Soleil Levant" which literally translates to House of the Rising Sun, and the orange and purple voodoo charm bags are supposed to help me attract the nicer things in life and give me success. New Orleans is unlike anywhere else, it's the kind of place where you could live there for ten years and only see an inch of what's there.

Nashville

After Chicago, we went down Highway 61 and across Kentucky and wound up in Nashville. Every single person in that town wants to be a country singer. It's ridiculous!! Broadway, the main drag was pretty interesting (read: tacky at times) but there was a shop there where, if you bought one pair of boots, you got two free. I definitely hit that!
